Contacting spirits.

Hello,if it's not to much trouble,i'd like to ask if anybody has any ideas as to how someone might contact a spirit,as i'm sure most of you know,tomorrow is samhain,and i like there may be a few spirits in my house,i think there are at least two,sometimes i hear them when i'm half asleep,i know it may just be my imagination,but i'd like to be sure,i can't do anything to fancy though,could someone please help me? thank you for your time.

Get yourself a digital recorder. or try to use a cell phone. then, like in the tv show's, start asking questions. I lived in a "spirited" house. We tried this and got some cool EVP's. At one point, the spirit even made a joke towards my step-son.

Spirits, like all entities, should be respected. Leave offerings out for them, maybe burn a delightful incense such as African Violet. Spirits reside in a lot of homes, but not all. You have to believe in them and really open yourself up to them. However, there is no sure fire way to get them to communicate with you. They will only come if they want to.

Actually if you can see spirit, even you aren't calling them you can see them anywhere

I would also recommend casting a protection spell over the home, or placing iron or hematite around the house. This will ensure that only benevolent or positive spirits may come in, considering the veil will be thinnest, and you can never be too sure only good spirits will come around.

You could try summoning the spirits of the house by rituals and such, but get in touch with your spiritual side first and make sure they are not evil spirits, because it they are they will likely take advantage of you and try to harm you.
