I was wondering if anybody here believes that there is magic that we have not yet discovered or harnessed. I know alot of people who believe that one day we will be able to alter our bodies when we figure out the spell and have the magic powers. Do you think that there is more advanced and completely life changing magic out there? Does anybody know how to do magic that as of now people believe to be impossible. (My reason for asking this is because I am interested in becoming a different person and I know many people on here also post things along those lines...becoming a mermaid, vampire etc.) Thank you
We were all magical in the beginning .we had super senses but we started using one of our senses more than the other and we all lost it.its still in us but it has to be awakend

There are many means to the same end, whatever works. All magic is undiscovered if you ask me. Magic is a force i feel will never be completely understood, because it cannot be accurately described.
As for becoming a mermaid vampire werewolf etc it's just simply not possible. I do not think it lies in figuring out the spell, it lies in the logic that it is fantasy. Magic is life changing, just in the practical ways.
I agree that the magic we posses now can only do things that our changeable.(A person can like you if you put a love spell on them, you can protect yourself from bad spirits and so forth). But I do believe their are "witches" or what not that can do things we believe to be undo able.
well, I believe part of the reason why people haven't learned how to become a vampire is that they are just doing spells, but not doing the exact definition of a vampire, a definition of a vampire is someone that's living or dead that has or works with a demon inside themselves or are possessed by a demon, if someone had a demon that helped them to regenerate or heal or to live after death then perhaps it's possible for a vampire to exist, of course people just don't know the definition of a vampire, they just think they are a mysterious being that mysteriously is a vampire with mysterious powers when in reality perhaps the answers are right in front of our faces, like there's myths and perhaps real stories that each clan of vampires were related to kanes family from the bible or had the mark of kane from being demonic or killing someone, so perhaps the way of becoming a vampire is as simple as having a demon inside themselves that makes them become a vampire or be born as a vampire, also people say vampires have a day called a awakening where they realize what their demons are or they discover their powers and they were either born vampires or turned into vampires. So who knows... Anyways I can't say whether they exist or not but that's my strong theory.
also one more thing, I heard of a power and it's proven by science and I saw it on a christian channel which was weird, but the guy was talking about god then eventually he said the power of prayer works on the body to heal the sick because certian vibrations spoken to the body can heal a person like regenerate or heal themselves even, he said that if we speak to our bodies that it can heal or remove sickness, I do not know if all this is true or a 100% authentic but it's possible, and again it was weird because it was on a christian channel about prayer and stuff LOL!
The healing process to regenerate the body or alleviate symptoms by faith healers is typically thought of falling down to the placebo effect by the scientific community. In making the patient believe that they will get better the body actually does heal itself, which in a way does show you the power of the human mind over its own body but it doesn't break any known medical of physical laws so please don't jump on it for the whole mermaid hypothesis because you can believe you're a mermaid all you like, you'll still drown.
Personally I do believe there are areas of magic we don't yet know, there's certainly areas of the spiritual world we do not understand and it is possible that one day we'll be able to understand them a bit better. That's very different from the belief that we will one day be able to alter our physical form magically, personally I don't see that as possible.
I'd also like to address the issue of what a vampire is here. They have been within folklore for many years and had the merging of many different cultures to create the modern interpretation of a vampire as to what you described. Ultimately the modern day "sanguine vampires" do not exist. We know they do not exist as we can track their evolution back through cultural tales and dissect the legends to there different original forms. Even those forms may not be the true original but it is as far as written records can take us. It most European cultures a vampire is originally a flying humanoid that drinks the blood of cattle during the night I believe, they do not posses super speed, regeneration, super strength of any of the other commonly thought of super powers. Such powers are typically thought of being attributed to them when the Christian faith attributed all folk tale villains to be either demons or witches (that they claimed worked with the devil and were all totally evil) and they acquired some of the god like attributes that are commonly thought of as being from demons that slowly manifested itself into physical abilities. They are also thought of to have gained the belief of human feeding when they merged with the declining popularity of an incubus preying on virgin women in the night, originally they only fed on cattle. Hardly the heroic godly characters most people think of today and most likely not the sort of thing people want to become, just to put that out there.
well it was just another suggestion that may be a theory, but the strong theory of the vampire through its definition may work, I am not saying they exist or not and I am not telling you I am a vampire or not, just saying the theory that a vampire is a person that works with a demon or possessed by a demon may be the hidden magick all along, but as for the thing where you tell your body to regenerate may just be a old wives tale or a myth or whatever you call it, whatever people call it these days, but yes there has been a few cases where people healed themselves by telling their bodies to heal.
