I've always been faced with the question: Do I really need it? If you are in the broom closet or candal cupboard like I am, it can be very contoversial. Obviously, it's naturally based on if YOU want it. If you can't get one, or your parents won't let you do certain things like burning incense, don't. If your parents don't think it's safe burning something, you want them to trust you enough and have faith in you to accept your religion. If you don't need one, don't waste your money. I only have candles, and some herbs. I'd like to get more of the tools, but I can't possibly keep everything hidden, or buy everything! I've always thought it was best to use your hands as the wand or athame, and use your body as a pathway for energy! I hope this helps many beginners in the decisions on what to get!
