Tolerance

I would like for people to take a moment and read this please, people i would like to address a problem and that problem is the lack of tolerance. people are picking on fluffies as much as kids pick on kids. okay let them be fluffies and you ask why? well first off you know their human and so do they, so why force them to say so? kay so ima let you know something, im a human, but i am a vampire. what is the difference? Im still human, i don't live longer, and there is nothing special that comes of it and there is no way to turn someone. i am bringing this to peoples attention as a member of the vampire community. we are not a lifestyle these are real people, so what is a vampire? someone who needs extra energy to live happily in their NORMAL HUMAN LIFE!only difference is we have a thirst, thirst for energy or blood and that's it!! and people who want to be turned i ask why? im sorry to day but i live a very normal life, my parents are human, im human! i sill go to school and believe it or not have homework, only difference is the sunlight hurts my eyes (no i do not burn up) and the fluorescent lighting at school hurts my eyes, i can hear things better and thats rater annoying when you can hear every single whisper in a class room. thats it! I did not ask for this and if i did not have it i would not want is because of thirst, its literally like a beast, no i do not go around killing people, im not afraid of garlic or another ridiculousness im human and that's that! oh and im rather tired a lot because im not tired at night, no i am not insomniac and i have tried pill but they just did nothing and i have tried everything, but i do not only claim to be able to only go outside at night.

Non believers:
My eyes, i have had check up, nothing is wrong, the thirst is not a mental disorder nor am i crazy, and my blood results are perfectly normal same with my eyes although my eye site is pretty bad thats it. we go through puberty and such but we also go through and awakening, and that pretty rough, there is no checklist ether so don't ask and no one can ever tell you that you are a vampire over the internet first off and secondly the awakening is he same except its a little odd, most vampires of the TRUE VAMPIRE community try to disprove everything until there is nothing to disprove and if nothing is wrong haha we are self identified as a vampire. you may tell im wrong but i am most certainly not. secondly the vampire community for the most part is underground and lastly people come on, you do not live for 100s of years, nether are you immortal, nor do we have a king or prince or any thing other like that, and some advise drinking blood ir rather dangerous so don't go drinking blood to figure out if you are one as you could get an std, or anything like that, so people be tolerant of other people and fluffies, vampires are nothing more then a human being, just with something extra to live with and i assure you, you do not want it. im just sick of the lack of respect on this site, cause normally i do not publicize this and true vampire would not, but none of you know me personally and none of you will.

I almost stopped reading when you said "but I'm a vampire." Intolerant? Perhaps. But this is because allowing others to give in to their delusions casts a pallor of incredibility upon the rest of us who seriously practice.

You have a sensitivity to light? Shocking. So do millions of others. You crave blood or energy? Ok. Why was this determined to be other than in your head? You received a psychiatric evaluation? You have good hearing? Well, good on you. Those aren't gifts. Those are common qualities in a young person who happens to have given in to some vampire concept.

Call it vampirism if you'd like. But do not expect tolerance when you are disregarding reality in favor of a silly concept born of modern fiction while entirely disregarding the factual nature of the rest. Give in to delusions and you will receive the same regard as an individual who firmly believes that the toaster contains small suns that allow it to heat bread to perfection.

Actuallay your both right and wrong, they are real but your righ on that level, it could just be puberty or teenage horomones (surprised you did not add that shows your level of stupidity) but but we are only humans, and i also do not claim to be special nor am i even close to a fluffie because i have been in the craft for 4 years so sorry to burst your bubble/

I never called you fluffy, or stupid. I did not bring up your hormones because you are a teenager and therefore overly sensitive, as displayed by your need to call me stupid. What I did say is that by calling yourself a vampire you are giving in to delusion, and portraying the entire magical community in a poor light.

Thank you though, for exhibiting the maturity and poise that would prove all of that wrong. heh.

Then you are a human, and not a work of fiction. If that is the case, why call yourself a vampire and invite ridicule upon yourself, and those associated with you?

If a vampire is merely human, then they do not exist. As I have stated numerous times before, those who have a dependency on "draining energy" usually possess some sort of emotional imbalance that, once corrected, allows them to function normally. However if they refuse to recognize this, they generally continue on as normal. I say this not because of mere belief, but because I have helped individuals with it.

The dependency on blood I have also witnessed, and it is another matter for psychology or a need for iron and protein that would be better sated through meat, nuts, beans, etc. When psychological, it is frequently part of the way that one identifies one's self. One sees one's self as something different, special, etc. and so on develops a need to exhibit this. As it becomes more public, the attention that is received reinforces this as a trait that defines one's individuality, and as others are met that possess this trait it similarly solidifies one's place int he world. Frequently individuals that possess this need otherwise feel out of place - somebody who otherwise doesn't fit in or stand out. The blood fixation provides a way for both. When one goes without, one starts to feel out of sorts because one suddenly lacks the place and stops to feel unique and special -something all of us need to one extent or another.

You're a smart kid. You don't need such things. Your qualities will shine on their own in the future.

That is the modern, poorly conceived description rooted in a mythology that is fiction. Cling to it if you'd like, but in turn you will face ridicule and invite it upon other practitioners who see the whole culture as a group of mad individuals who believe in nonsense.

The happiness derived from the energy/blood is readily described in my previous post. As I said, you're smart. You don't need such things.

Right. Thus the other emotional/mental dependencies. Nobody said you were stupid. I actually said you were intelligent. Twice. Please stop being so hostile.
