Had a dream the other night, in a brick wall in a church I found a brick with a pentagram marked on it, I took out the brick and inside was a round black amulet with silver marking, a voice wrang in my head and the amulet told me its name. It has power over fire. I said its name as I walked through the church. As I said it candels lit and the flames grew taller and brighter. I turned to a mirror, said the name one more time, wherever i pointed fire erupted. The candels exploded and it was bad. Does this mean anything, does it mean if I did have magic I wouldn't be able to control it? Or was this amulet demonic?

Out of curiosity, what kind of church was it? Does that church have a particular meaning to you? Does it represent your religion, or is it against it? These will set the overall tone for the dream.
About the amulet itself, what do amulets represent to you? Are they protection, power, knowledge? Whatever they represent to you, they will show you what you fear you can't control, or what you fear is beyond your reach. You are concerned that going for what you desire will burn down what the church represents to you.
To me amulets represent protection and to multiply your powers. But there was something off about this one. Like something evil was in it. In the dream it really wanted me to use its power

The ancient church could be showing you that it is the old ways that you are either interested or involved in.

As of the pentagram markings you have found, I would mention you that it is sign of the property of the unholy arc; in other words, the devil. You are to view a lot of tragedies more on in your life as to the definition of the pentagram in our books; tragedy, sorrows and mischief. But if you are well enough to control and manipulate your own actions, then you have a chance of not being interfered by the pentagram. The pentagram might as well test your capability of holding a property of the dark and I presume you are going to need more preparations for that.
