I'm going to buy a book of shadows could some tell me some spells that work so i can write them down and is it possible to freeze water from using a spell
Why not make your own BoS? Bos mean Books of Shadows. Like said spells can't make you freeze water or any of that Hollywood stuff. Spells would usually determine on the caster who casts them. Not every spell will work for you. I'd suggest to learn the basics and learn about spells before you go casting.
I agree with Sinix comments & feel she's given you the write advise. I feel you need to really study before casting any spells. As we shouldn't harm others, so when we don't know what we are doing we can Magick is not a trick performed on stage like the world magic. No you can't transform into a vampire, fly around the sky on a broom as that's just Hollywood & not real! I have more than one BOS now but there all ring binders, well they started that way but now there covered in leather & blinded. They look like old books not like binders. Your BOS is your record of your personal witchcraft journey. It's your thought, your forms, your knowledge, your spells. What I'm trying to say is, this is not a spoon feed craft, you have to find the information, you have to seek the knowledge. Others can guide you but can't do it for you. If I gave you a spell to put into your BOS what have you learnt? What hard work did you put in? You need to work hard, study & gain knowledge. Just read you want to freeze water. Well sorry that's not possible, the only way you can freeze water & that's put it in the freezer. I think you should make your own BOS as you've then put into to it. It's not hard to do really, the easiest way would be to get a binder.Here's one way.Cover it with form, you can get some from any craft shop. Your properly best to use hot glue, so mind your fingers. Then find a nice piece of material you like & cover it, make sure you stretch it out to get out any creases. If you do make your own BOS please post a pic of it, it'd love to see it. Good luck!
The first thing is that you cannot freeze water with a spell. Now then, you have to know which spells work, as you asked.
It is extremely important to choose a spell which potentially works otherwise the casting will not have any point.
Just remember that there are two types of spells:
Real magic spells - These are real magic spells that actually work for the magic practitioner if he/she casts it properly. Such spells will work for you if you know what you are doing, if you are experienced and familiar with the basics, and work better if you will choose to follow some optional traditions like : colors, planetary days and hours, moon phases, ritual tools and supplies, etc. Such spells always worked for me if they were cast properly, since they are magic
spells that have potential to work,. Do not forget that this is about potential, and such spells really have it. By saying real magic spells i mean that these are magic spells that can be cast by magic practitioners. Such spells do not include physical changes and DNA changes, or any actual kind of transformation. This is the other sort of spells i am going to talk about.
Fluffy / fantasy spells - Such spells are not real magic spells - which means they won't work, they are bullocks, snot.. The magic practitioner will not be able to get results from them
even if he dedicates as much energy as he can, and even if he / she follows all of the traditions and optional things. It means that they have no potential to work. No matter what the magic practitioner tries to do, and how. Such spells include : transformation, DNA changes, and other kind of things which can be found only in science fiction movies. You are able to avoid such spells by : personal experience, logic sense and maturity.
This thing is very important. The proper spell has a lot to do with managing to cast the spell, it gives the spell most of its potential to work, as i said.
