My wand

I bought a wand from a place called "Alivan's." I took place in a ritual that supposedly enchanted it where I dip the tip in water, uniodized salt, fire (barely), and through incense smoke. I haven't seen any results so far. Did I do the ritual right?

Did you cleanse and consecrate the wand first? residual energy from other people can affect a spell. That's why witches don't like to have other people touch their magickal tools. or was it a cleansing ritual you performed? From what you said it sound similiar to a cleansing/consecration ritual.

Yes, it was a cleansing ritual. I believe there was an incantation as well. I think it was "Debello pravus virga"

well once you've cleansed and consecrated a tool, it's ready for use in magick. Would recommend keeping your magickal tools where other people can't get at them. Magickal tools seem to attract peoples attention. lol. and if someone else touches them, you'll prob need to repeat the cleansing/consecration.

I would. NOBODY touches my tools! lol.things pick up energy from people and their surrondings. It is also a good idea to cleanse and consecrate what ever you keep the tools in and the area where you do your workings. a general house cleansing and blessing can be a good idea, also. If your living with mundanes(parents, mates, etc.) you can at least cleanse and bless your personal space.

I make sure I have protection plants around and always keep sage for clensing.

I heard about a spell that can unlock any powers that I can't reach, but it requires a basement or attic. I don't have either.
