ball of light

has anyone ever have this happen to them when i was a kid i would see this thing that look like a ball of light it would come out of whatever i was looking at at the time like a tv or looking out the window at school an when i saw it i could never move an it would come right at me an go into my forehead which would make my body jump then i could move again anyone know what that was it doesn't happen anymore
