Spell Suggestions Newbie

Hey guys, I'm new to the site but also to magic itself. I was raised Christian but I'm seeing that Christian Wicca or paganism is more for me. What are some good spells I can start out with (that actually work) that requires materials I can find easily around my dorm room (no candles)? Any help would be appreciated. Also, I usually don't use pentagrams (because of bad experience with them in the past). Thanks!

well I would start with trying to meditate daily because its important really clear your mind before you start any spells because I notice when I do not do that I tend to be very drained of energy

I actually do meditate a lot and am a clairvoyant and have abilities.

Don't force a spell, just be patient, and think of what you need, think of what you want, and think of what you would like to accomplish. Then when your heart tells you what spell to perform, do some research on the spell, or mail me, or someone else to guide you, to help you or to just make sure everything is in order :) A side note: many newbies do a protection spell, before any other spell, so that no harm comes to them when they cast other spells.
