I am interested about how everyone found their god/goddess. Who is it that you worship and how did you find them (or how did they find you)? What made you heed the call and follow?

I dislike using the word "worship" for my practice, so I will use the word "honor" instead.
I honor a handful of God/desses, as well as some wights and ancestors- as is common in my tradition. The main deities, or the ones I honor most, are Loki, Hel, Fenrir, Vidar. Past that, I do honor some of the Aesir/Vanir, the Rokkr and then wights, such as land-spirits. I call myself a Lokean, because I view Loki as a "patron deity" of sorts, and in that sense Hel would be my "Goddess".
I have always had a deep interest in the Northern deities. Some of the ones I honor I began to work with, and devote myself to, simply out of my own personal curiosity about them. Others I felt drawn to, and some even dreamed of, which led me to include them in my workings. When working with these God/desses, everything felt "right" to me, I grew to adore said deities and included them in my workings/devotionals, and that is how I knew I had found the right path for me. :)
This is interesting. PLease excuse my wording if the term 'worship' dishonors anyone or their deities in any way. i grew up in a catholic household so thats the term that comes to mind. I feel drawn to Loki but he has such a huge amount of people who believe that having Loki in your life is an invitation for chaos. i know that life is full of chaos all on its own so what made you see past his more mainstream reputation and see past the rumors?
i totally agree with personified.. i also don't use the term worship but "honor" and "illumination."
i honor lucifer for he is my patron deity and also azazel my personal teacher and also hecate (after i have done doing the toad rite) and all the demons that i have been working on..
Now, with honoring Luifer, what makes you get away from the negative reactions to who you dedicate yourself to? Most would see no good where you see your focus in religion. More importantly, if it is not too personal, did you have a clarifying mooment where Lucifer became a part of your life or did happen gradually until becoming just 'there'?
Most recently I ve found a connection with the Goddess Hecate. Before this it was Dionysus and before that Freya. I truly believe Hecate is the right god "for me" There was a day that I couldnt get her name out of my head and the next night there was a strong electrical storm as I was doing research on her and I just knew she was the one.
