I don't think dark magic is that bad but it depends on how you use it

Darth, yes many people know that "dark" magic(k) isn't all evil. Yes it could be good. As "Light" can be evil. All labels given to categories it. I use "Positive" and "Negative". As no one can say "positive" is "good' and not "evil" and as "negative" can't be said it's all "evil" and not "good". It's like someone accusing Satanists of all being "evil" which isn't true, Satanists are not born "evil" that is a decision they make on their own. As so is the decision to be "good'.

Like others have said already, no such thing as dark magick. Magick is magick its all in the intended purpose of the caster.

Just like a gun, a gun is an inanimate object, it has no feelings, no desires, no thoughts. It can be used for good or evil all depending on who uses it and why they are using it.

As many have said above, it depends on the practitioners intention. But also on their well being and such. A positive spell can turn negative you cast it while ill. Many things can categorize it as "Black Magick"
