Casting Spells

Hello, everyone. I am new to this website and I am really interested in learning and performing magic. I have already read those articles and the other things for beginners.
My first question is: Do some of these spells actually work? I am curious about this because I get many different answers. It's making me very puzzled.
Also, which basic spells can I try? I wouldn't mind if you tell me which one and how to perform them. I really want to try my first one. I read some of the spells that were written by members here, and I tried a few of them. Unfortunately, they didn't work. I would greatly appreciate it if you folks can give me advice, tips, etc.

Dont be in a rush to cast a spell. Youve got to study and practice the basics which is a magical experience in itself. Protection spells are usualy the first spell you want to learn to cast but there are many basics you can study to build your confidence. Meditation, visualization, energy manipulation, divination, grounding and centering, casting a circle, tools, chakras, herb, candle and color correspondences, moon phases, dieties and different paths. You dont have to learn it all in one day. Ray buckland and scott cunningham are good authors to choose for books. It can seem daunting but dont get discouraged. If you can commit to reading at least to pages a day you will have an easier time retaining what you read and can get through any book before you know it if you apply what you have learned.

I would do a protection one first and get with grips with that because if you go on to a different spell and do something wrong you will need protection I would try that.
