I trying to practice eclectic wicca im not trying to be rude but Im really a eclectic wiccan making my own path that falls in category I mean I not trying to disrespect traditions but im following what I find best for me im not a robber stealing stuff from traditions im just want to be my own person and follow my path is that wrong im a little confused
That is exactly what Eclectic Wicca is, its creating your own path and believing what you want and doing what you feel is right. You see it's not a question about good or bad nor its a question about wrong or right but its rather about true or false, there are debates on wheather Eclectic Wicca can even be considered Wicca?
Traditionalists around the world say that thoses who are Eclectic Wiccans and consider themselves Wiccan dosen't actually make them Wiccan. But I personally consider Eclectic Wicca a modern day movement and I believe it tears away the actually tradition. But again the path you are in is all about doing what you feel is right and making your own path. Their is nothing good or bad about it, its just what you feel is right.

Do you know how Wicca started? Gardner and Valiente took parts of old beliefs, old traditions, old Gods and Goddesses, to form a new kind of "witchcraft" religion.
Wicca is of itself eclectic. But so are most religions. Added to, and subtracted from, over many years. Wicca is no different, really. If Gardner were alive today he would not recognise the religion he started.
Although there are those who stick to the original Wicca; there are many who do not!

Although I am one of those initiated into British Traditional Wicca were there are some who believe that eclectic Wicca isn't Wicca at all, I am not one of those. I believe that the term "Wicca" has long come to have a broader meaning that just for those who are British Traditional Wiccans. That being said, I also believe that Wicca is not just "anything you want it to be". If that were the case then the term would have no meaning at all. There are certain practices and beliefs that need to be present for something to be considered Wicca, but beyond those core beliefs and practice I think there is a lot of leeway in how one chooses to follow a Wiccan path. I don't think Eclectic Wicca is "bad". I don't even know any Traditional Wiccans who believe it is "bad". They might not think it is Wicca but none of them would deny that it is a valid spiritual path for the individual following it.
