How does someone know if black magic is being used on them? What are the signs and symptoms?

The symptoms of magic being worked against you are:
Long stages of bad luck,
Incapable of holding a lasting relationship,
Poor health (keep in mind that this isn't always the case, it's just a possibility)
Unsuccessful in most parts of your life,
Financial, and/or family problems (depending on severity, and length of time)
These are just a few, there are more, if these didn't apply to you. Note: if you have any of these ailments, it might be the work of another person, but it can be intentional, or accidental. There are times when the negative energy comes from you, when you let negative vibrations and dark intentions build up around you. I'm sure it depends on the type of spell cast,usually feeling darkness around you ,or even ,possibly nightmares

Cast protection spells and a spell to break a curse

Like ToxicVampire said, a protection spell and curse breaking spell. If you can, try making your own to get better results. Also, just a suggestion, try to create an amulet for purification, healing, protection, or something similar. A prayer to a deity you believe in will help considerably.

Another good thing to do ,would be to reflect the spell on the caster who cursed you,

How do you do that?

theres a few ways. if you know who the person is, place a picture of them in a box of mirrors. this should reflect energy back at them. mirrors work well at deflecting negative energy. wearing a mirror on you is a good idea. some cultures also felt tassels confused negativity and sent it away.
