So, the past couple days, I've been really digging a particular goddess. I'm not sure what it is, because I haven't really been drawn to her before, even though I've known at least a little bit about her since I was little. But these past couple days it seems I can barely stop myself from thinking about her. I'm doing doodles and searching for images and web pages, having this great desire for a statue of her for my altar I saw on the internet. It really all started when I decided to use her for the face of a card for the tarot deck I'm making. I'm sure you're wondering who the goddess I'm talking about is. I'm talking about Isis from ancient Egypt. I don't know what it is but it's like I'm being drawn to her now. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about this.

Isis is such a wonderful goddess, I would find it hard not to get interested in her. Is it possible she is calling you forth, inviting you to work with her? I believe it to be possible. Or you simply have an interest in her, like one gets interested in studying a particular subject. Simply her image, and how she is depicted says a lot about her, at least to me. Her stories can captivate those who read them, look into them. You can also work with her on a personal level, if you wish. These are just ideas of mine, nothing much. Hope it helps in some way.
Okay, thank you. I found it kind of weird that I was drawn to her, not only because I wasn't much interested in her before, but also because I view God as being one entity where all the other gods are just faces of Them. So all gods are God. But I wasn't sure why I was drawn to isis particularly. I've always thought ancient Egypt was really cool, but I know the Greek myths far better and grew up around them more. So I just thought this was really interesting. Does anyone else have any ideas about this?
So I used a pendulum to see if I could find some answers. From the pendulum, I get the idea that I should try working with isis, that she could possibly be my patron, that I should DEFINITELY study her, and that I should do some prayers to her tonight. Also, the pendulum said she may be calling me. Now, this is the first time I used a pendulum to answer so many questions on one topic and never before have I asked about gods. So I'm going to try approximately the same questions tomorrow or the day after to see if the results will be similar or not.
