Before you cast a spell maybe? Also you could join a coven that teaches the basics.

It depends on what you want to learn, just magick, or is there a religion you had in mind?

There are many forums, articles, books, videos and other sites that can help you. 'The basics' usually include things like energy work, meditation, elements, circle casting and so forth. If you are converting you should learn the history, tools, holidays, rituals and so on about the religion.

I want to learn so much probably too quickly as is my nature. I dont think I'm confident to do magic as yet I think I should concentrate on the basics, how I should live my life ( no religion ) to its fullest help others and feel content medication?

Try reading The Goddess is in The Details by Deborah Blake. It speaks of incorporating your spirituality into your daily life. It does assume you have done your 'year and a day' [study for one year and one day] so it doesn't go into detail about circle casting or what tools are for what, but it does help you bring your spirituality out of the circle and into your life. Pick up a begginers guide to magick or a pagan path to help with your studies, but I do recommend picking up Blake's book as well.
