'Black magick' is a popular misconception about magick that it is categorized either white or black when in reality its the intent of the caster that makes it positive 'white' or negative 'black'.

Black magick consists of spells that harm instead of help. Curses, hexes, and death spells are merely the surface. Many love spells do harm, casting spells for selfish reasons, or forcing your will on someone else, fall into this category. [Example, casting a spell on a boy you like who is already with someone. You break them up and force him to be with you. This is negative, and therefore 'black magick'] magick has a lot of moral complications people don't think about at first which places many spells in the 'negative' section because at some point, someone could get hurt. [Like a money spell, you find 20$. This money wasn't made by the universe, someone lost it. It could be a rich man, but it could be a child's lunch money.]

Magick does not have a color it's based off of intension. If you want to bless someone's soul, it's obviously good. It you want to kill someone, then it obviously evil or bad intensions. This is how I would classify magick.
