dreams of the dead

I have had pretty much the same dream over and over again. It's about one of my lovers. He killed himself about 6 years ago! In the dream we talk cry make love. I wake up crying ever time. What do any of you think of my dreams? What could they mean? Is he trying to tell me something about my life or is it just him coming visit me? Please help me to understand

Sounds like you have an attachment to this person that is still strong. Your dreams are playing out what reality can't and you obviously still care for him very much. There is nothing wrong with feeling the way you do it is perfectly normal.

I lost my fiance over 40 years ago. Since then I have gone on with my life and been happily married for years. But I still dream of the man I lost and I still have strong feelings for him. It's perfectly natural. If one has strong bonds with a person who has died then it is possible that he is indeed coming to visit to make sure you're OK.
