Okay, I had set it up

A candle to the south
A incense to the east
A bowl of sea salt to the north
A bowl of water to the west

Then i said this for each element.

"may the powers of (element) bless the arts and works of this (item)

I started off with air, fire, water, and the last one is earth. Is this a good way to bless your tools and materials

sounds fine to me, though you should cleanse the tool beforehand to get rid of any other energy. try meditating with it to see if you can sense/feel anything different with the tool.

if you have sage [incense or smudge] pass the tool through the smoke, otherwise you could wash it with sea salt water.

if you're bad with meditation, you should really work on it, but it's an optional step in the blessing process. personally i meditate after blessing the tool and charge it with my energy. just sit with the tool in your hands and take a few deep breathes, if any thoughts come to your mind try and ignore them [meaning if you randomly think 'did i have homework tonight' count your breathes or stare at the tool instead of thinking back to your school in an attempt to remember]

It's good but if u r a white mage keep the item on top of the flame of a White candle (becareful not to burn it) and if a black mage on top of the black or red candle will do and just chant the blessing
