did all spirits live once

I don't know how to phrase this right but here it goes. did spirits live once if so what does one mean by a nature spirits or are spirits just products of nature ? (I hope I worded that right)

The way I read this you are confusing ghosts and spirits.

As I understand them:
Ghosts are believed to have been living beings on this physical plane that died and linger in a non physical way.

Spirits are living beings who dwell on this plane or another and have a tendency to interact with those who live physical lives on this plane. The beings you hear referred to as nature spirits are not dead, they are products of nature as is all life.

Honestly, it depends on one's definition of spirit.

I use the word spirit to describe any being experienced non-physically, like a blanket term for anything not physical. I also use it to mean a person's personality and characteristics.

So yes, there are saints, ancestors, and some emperors or leaders deified after death that I consider spirits.
