What could this be?

When I would be sitting in my room, my door would get locked when i turned to look at it, and i would feel abrupt strokes on my shoulder. My door locked itself a total of 3 or 4 times, but i still feel touching sometimes. Any thoughts what this might be?

This could possibly be a spirit of sorts. You could choose to banish it or pass it on either way it is drawn to you. Another possibility is that it is evil. In this case you do not want it to stick around. Banishing it would be the wise choice.

This could be a spirit that you have met maybe once before when it was still living. Whether animal or human, you should help it pass through. If it doesn't go through, that means it must be an evil spirit. Then you can banish it.

Your door locked itself? Do you mean a key turned in the lock, with nobody touching it? Or does your door, like mine, lock itself with a Yale lock when you close the door?

Possible spirit of a sorts or it might simply be a an automatic lock.

First off, no one should just assume that this is being caused by a spirit. Secondly, no one should just assume that it is a ghost or some evil entity even if it is an entity. Arietus will have to figure that out for themselves.

Keep in mind that this has the possibility of being entirely mundane circumstances. I've had the door to my room bang constantly even though it was closed and locked only to find out that it was the breeze from my open sliding glass door pushing against my bedroom door, which is honestly too small for its frame.

It could either be hallucination.

Just as we should not assume spiritual activity without actually knowing the situation, we should not assume mental disability over the internet. While that may seem harmless, it can actually be very damaging to people who legitimately have mental disorders like schizophrenia.

It can also be damaging to mentally healthy folk and make them overthink a situation. Avoiding that is the entire point of my responses.

Good lord you're throwing schizophrenia around too freely! I'd leave diagnosis to doctors who see a person, not someone you don't know over the internet.

All of the feeling of things could be the mind playing tricks on you, if you look into certain phenomena such as the famous rubber hand illusion you will see the brain can cause illusory sensations in normal, healthy individuals.

As for locking doors, not sure the circumstances etc. My advice as with all things you think are supernatural is apply critical thinking and skepticism until you can no longer!

It was a mistake to post it, but please own up to your actions instead of trying to write them off as an accident.
