Last night I asked my ancestors if they could grant me three wishes then I got a deck of playing cards, shuffled them and split them into 2 decks until I got the cards of hearts which means yes or an ace card which means no. This is usually used as a fortune teller technique but I used i sometimes use it to connect with my ancestors. When I was pulling a card from each deck I got the card of hearts which means yes.i thanked them and then when I looked down I found a wish list that I had made my freshman year under my bed and took this for a sign. Could this be a sign or just a coincidence? And can you're ancestors really give you what you desire?
I don't think of ancestors as genies, and would reserve seeking out worthless earthly goods from them but seek wisdom and advice, guidance, things that on the otherside they could put energy into, they don't got or care about iPods where they are and must likely wouldn't care if you owned such a thing, they would however want you to grow as a person but a meaningful dream, a secret sign or message, these they can do and if you are lucky enough to have a real connection to the otherside... I wouldn't waste their energy with something so petty such as a material thing. People literally strave to death everyday, an answer to a wish such as this is rooted in selfishness, and I don't see an ancestor rewarding that. But if you want something you figure it out, they will smile apon you. You should be thanking them, not asking for stuff. Sorry if this is not what you wanted but this is how I feel about the matter
When it comes to Ancestors, research the Chinese ritual on inviting their ancestors on a full moon festival, where the spirit communicate to them through paper and pen. I guess that is the closest acknowledgement you can get from ancestors. Again who knows, the world is smaller than we thought.
Tamara, how many ancestors did you contact? After all, there are so many to choose from.
Parents 2; grand-parents 4;great-grand-parents 8, and so on. Doubling every generation, over a few million years. You are the result of millions of Humans; and you carry their DNA.
Now, I don't want to crush your dreams; but three wishes? That's right out the fairy stories!
That's good to hear, the wish list thing must have thrown me and made think it was a Xmas list or something lol. In the Norse tradition, you don't ask gods or ancestors for things but ask them to help give you the strength to seek what you're after. But you may end up depressing yourself waiting around on wishes, instead of
just working on getting this things with the cunning and bravery they gave unto you. It's a nice idea honey but if wishes did work. .. I think people wouldn't suffer as they do. Plus your wishes may not be what you truthfully need, or at least in the eyes of a higher power.
