When one is mditating and visualising a spirit or specific things with a strong sense of belief , can it be a tulpa?
Bcause it will be really hard to tell different between a spirit or tulpa, because they both feel the same. I hope i dont sound fluff to any of you but i am just curious and want other's knowldge into this.
A tulpa, or a thoughtform as I prefer to call it, can be formed if you believe strongly that something exists. This is because the energy that you radiate when you think about it, believe in it and say "this thing with this and that trait is real" is directed in such way, that is slowly concentrated in one "place" until it is molded and shaped in the way that you will it.
In the end, this blob of energy in the end acquires consciousness.
In a nutshell, a thoughtform is an artificial spiritual being. Think of it as building a human with total control over his appearance, personality, skills and flaws etc... The fact that it is artificial however doesn't make it lesser or higher than other souls, as a thoughtform too can be humane, so treat yours with love and respect.
A spirit on the other hand, is not created by another entity, at least not with the same way as one would create a tulpa. It can be an energy expression of nature (e.g. elemental spirits), the universe, an non-directed accumulation of a certain kind of energy/energies, a byproduct of two or more souls or spiritual beings fusing, clashing or shattering, etc.

From my understanding a tulpa is pretty specific to it's builder or builders. A thoughtform on the other hand, could effect others if you needed it to. Both are constructs but there are differences between them.
Telling the truth I have a lot experiences on creating tulpas, but I have never meet a spirit. However creating tulpas begun since I was five from my strong desire to meet a spirit or to be a magic girl as I was seeing on TV! When I need dor guidance or help in difficult issues I don't play chess but use ny tulpas for help. Hope I helped you a bit!
I think you have to be in deep meditation/trance in order this to happen. People say thoughts there are ten times more powerful...
Both are concetrated energy, although spirits have more energy than tulpas. Also, a major difference between each human soul and entity/spirit, is the system of reproducing our own energy. It's like we "recycle" our energy, if we didn't our souls/we wouldn't exist. Tulpas aren't created in a complicated level like souls, they aren't able to reproduce their own energy.
Tulpas are ususally created by neutral energy. Technically they can be either possitive or negative as well, although this is a bit more, complicated... They can visit people and make specific vissions happen to them during their sleep, yes. On the other hand, this has a bit of complication too.
