Hello everyone, I hope you are doing awesome. Um, there is something wrong with me. Every time I sleep, even a second, I always see nightmares. I dunno where all of this negativity come from, because I'm used to be a very happy and confident person. Do you have any ideas, and if so, can you help me in any way you believe it's right?
Nordstar is right, a sudden influx of nightmares isn't something you should automatically jump to magic to fix. Try talking to a therapist and see what they can do to help you.
In my personal experience, nightmares always come from stress. Try to figure out what's causing this, and confront your fears. If you need help, here is a great website on dream interpretation: http://www.dreammoods.com/
If you feel like it could be something more, mullein and coffee or coffee beans are good herbs for this. I would try keeping some nearby when I sleep.
I'd have to agree with Nordy. The reason being a lot of times dreams can be our subconcious trying to tell us something. If your having some real life problems that are perhaps not being addressed they could be manifesting in your dreams.
You could look into dream analysis and see if you can figure anything out by that.
As many people stated, therapy is an option (don't listen to anyone who says it doesn't work; as long as you find the right person to help you, it can be extremely beneficial). If you had therapists who told you that you're fine, I would find a better therapist. They're not supposed to just tell you nothing's wrong--if you are having an issue with something psychological that is impacting your life negatively, it is their job to get to the bottom of it and help you through it.
If you really believe it's a curse, go through the diagnostics (for example, do you know anyone with the right knowledge to curse you who has any incentive to do so?) If everything adds up and seems to be a curse, take countermeasures, but only after all mundane possibilities have been disproven.
Everyone is right, I would approach a mundane way before turning to Magick, however, after you try what the others suggest, you could try burning sage to cleanse your room, cast a protection or banishing spell to see if that helps.
I know when I'm stressed, if my family is fighting, or I feel tension between friends, I get nightmares. I usually meditate, diffuse lavander, and sit in a dark quiet room, before bed. Sometimes I take a hot bath with epsom salt and lavander, that also relaxes if you feel any tensio or stress.
