Hi all, new girl here :)

Hi!

I've been drawn to spiritual and magical things for a very long time, ever since my very early teens. I was lucky enough to find a lovely couple who owned a Wiccan book shop who tried to help me on my path; giving me a couple of books and offering advice.

I sort of lost my way a little though, as I went through Catholic schooling and focussed on my studies and then work took over my life.
In 2013 I was diagnosed with, and subsequently beat cancer, and that experience made me think about my life a lot. About what I'd been doing, and not doing, and about my path.
I changed my job and have been looking after myself better, and my love of the spiritual never let up even if it was only a background interest for a while.
I'm now looking to really find my spiritual path, and that's why I'm here! :)

I Have always been very empathic, and have had a lot of spiritual experiences in my lifetime. I fairly frequently also seem to affect electrics, which can be a little irritating, haha. I also feel as though I am something of an 'old soul'.

Fairly recently I discovered that I have strong Romany blood on my father's side, and I am keen to learn more about Romany magic and folklore.

I'm also interested in Vodou and Hoodoo, though more from an interest point of view. It's always interested me heavily, but I'm conscious that I have no cultural relationship with it, and worry that if I looked into it I would not be accepted by other practitioners.

You cannot edit posts. The best you can do is copy what you put using your mouse or control+c then remaking a thread or remaking your comment then hitting paste or control+v. It will save you the trouble of having to retype things out from scratch. Anyways, welcome~

Hi good to meet you, i hope you find what you're looking for here i've only recently joined myself and ive already met some lovely people who have gone out of their way to help and advise me, Its brilliant to hear that you kicked cancers backside back where it belong nowhere near you or anyone for that matter. I will help anyone i can if possible but im learning myself too
