I summoned a demon using a spell in the spells section of the page 3 years ago when I was only 12 years old. The only demon I knew by name was a demon that was referred to as a banshee in greek mythology; Nightmare. She is known to haunt dreams and even suffocate you in your sleep.
Being 12, I was very scared. My heart raced so much. I held out my hands and as I was summoning her my hands started tingling. All of a sudden my hands were burning. Almost like touching a light socket but constant. I was so scared that I started saying some verses that I learned from Catholic religions. All of a sudden the burning stopped but my hands were dark red and throbbing.
Threw the 3 years I have become more the wiser and have a whole library of documents, spells, theories, etc. Yet I am still new to summoning, and no matter what I summon I feel traumatized. Even if its an angel I still get scared.
So,
1. Did I summon a demon?
2. What did I do wrong if I did/didn't?
3. Why can't I summon anything ever since then? Is it trauma or a curse?
4. If a demon touched my hands what was it doing (besides burning them)?
Banashee is from Irish mythology, not Greek. For your questions, I doubt you actually summoned anything considering you used a spell from this website. Which as stated, summoning is a ritual.
You really shouldn't be summoning anything if you don't know what you're doing. You have no idea what would happen if you summon the wrong spirit. If you have to ask these questions, I'd say you should do some more research.
As someone performing at least an evocation of some kind every day, I'll try to answer those questions.
1. Well, as stated above, a banshee is not a demon, not an individual entity, not Greek, and not so much a nightmare spirit. I'm having doubts an actual banshee answered the call, even more so that an actual demon answered the call, since unlike what you might expect, they're not just stalking you and tempting you everywhere you look, waiting for you to call on them. That said, something did answer that call, albeit it was probably a wandering spirit or trickster or even free-roaming egregore, or something weirder. I can look into it, if you want.
2. I know you are a Christian Wiccan, but Christianity in general is quite a filter for demon and angel work, in that it will project what you believe into what you experience, which obscures the mind from the truth. I am not telling you to leave Christianity, simply to learn how to master your mind and suspend your beliefs for the duration of an evocation.
If I mention Lucifer, and the devil, fallen angel, or whatever is all that comes to mind, I would advise you just meditate and try to replace him with a question mark in your head. Do this enough times, so that any time anyone mentions Lucifer all you can see in your mind is a question mark.
Enter the evocation with an open mind, and write down any UPG not directly proven or needed into the kitty box. Some Christian programming can still get in there, though, so most magicians divorce themselves of monotheistic religions altogether. I always advise a balance between Solomonic ideas, of forcing the spirits to serve you, and devil-worshiping ideas of worshiping anything really.
Also, letting any fear leak in, not being focused, not having a reliable communication method, not summoning a "real" demon, not commanding properly, not having your senses developed, not having a method to check if it was an impostor(which it likely was), etc. the list goes on and on.
3. The former. If you can't summon anything, you're either not trying enough, not trying in the right way, or trying too hard. Trying too hard can be fixed by calming down and letting intuition actually be your guide, as well as simply simplifying the process, not trying enough can be fixed by actually doing the work, and not trying in the right way would mean spending less time reading boring grimoires, and more time learning how to open sigils, see spirits, hear spirits, and perform the operation.
4. Not a demon, and as for what it was doing, it could not have been touching you. It could have just been your reaction to unfamiliar, dark, thick, heavy energy, which is very tangible. No one can actually know what the entity intended on doing to your hands without asking the entity themselves, and cnsidering this was so long ago...well, you need not worry about that.
Thanks for clarifying that a banshee was from Irish Mythology instead of Greek, though I do remember it in Greek Mythology. I must restate myself though, I did not say I attracted a banshee I said that this demon Nightmare could be similar to a banshee. I didn't mean it was.
"The mare in nightmare is not a female horse, but a mara, an Anglo-Saxon and Old Norse term for a demon that sat on sleepers' chests, causing them to have bad dreams."

I would not discredit anyone based on their age, nor would I do so to Past You. I've seen kids do greater and more efficient magic than most adults.
With that in mind, I'm sure your evocation skills are better at this point.
And imo, nightmares, as mythological creature are an umbrella term for a whole plethora of entities. Some, I'm sure are demonic, though human vampires, hags, and dead humans can all have those kinds of effects.
If it was a demon, it dosent necessarily mean that it was bad. Of course it could have wanted to do harm to you but it also might not of. And for the party where it touched you, it depends on how "aware" you are
