Okay? Do you have a topic to start with or something? I'm all for talking about the Greek Gods. It doesn't have a section due to the fact that Hellenism/study of Greek mythology isn't that popular on the site.

I've always seen the Greek gods as rather petty. Kinda childish. But they have their moments I suppose. Does anyone have a favorite god/goddess?

I don't really enjoy the idea of "favourite god/goddess".But I feel connected with Hermes and Poseidon. What's your opinion about annoy a greek deity ?

I feel connected to Hades. The Greek Deity is great. I love reading up on the old myths and everything. If these Gods and Goddesses are real, then the stories would be even more so, and I would love to be involved in something similar. I like to believe they are real, as all Gods can be. Your opinion?

I don't really enjoy to work with deities in my magical practice,they are not our spells's materials.

I think is important to know many informations about the deity you want to work / build a friendship.

Greek gods and goddess have a great personality,they can be bad,evil but good and kind,too.They want a "big" respect.

I find myself connected to Artemis,the greek goddess of hunting and Hera,the goddes of marriage .

If a deity become angry on you,is very possible to have many problems in your life

Example : If Hera is angry on you is possible to have problems in marriage.

Being "Greek" for so many years, I've learned not to choose favorites. Things never turned out well for me if I said "I like Hermes more than Zeus". They are full of themselves, and think higher above than any pantheon. I could say that I have been working with Hermes more lately than Aphrodite and Zeus. But those three are my rock; my support.

I abandoned my faith completely within them because of their pedestal attitude. Apollo seemed to abandon me completely when drawing a picture of Isis. Athena seems compassionate...only when she gets what she wants. Hecate was too obscure. Never talked, visited, or done anything in general, yet expected a golden statue and a temple dedicated to her.

I have cleansed my pantheon and opened up to Isis; she is definitely a motherly figure, and sort of does "my own thing; join if you'd like, I won't make you; worship is worship."

Anyways, I did have a high favoritism of Athena. She did guide me throughout most of my life. But I can't say Isis didn't. I've always considered Isis just an interest while Athena was actually branded an actual event in motion, if you get me. I will always love her though.
