Taking someone's pain?

So last night my boyfriend was complaining about getting a headache because of ringing in his ears so I put my forehead on his trying to heal him, and I wasn't really expecting anything to work, but I started hearing ringing in my ears and it got so bad everything else kinda muffled out.. I dunno if it got better for him, he fell asleep but I was just curious if that's ever happened to anyone else, cuz its a first for me
