Hey, so I'm currently going to a very small music college in Hollywood California and I just want to see if anyone knows of any white magic covens in the aria. Since I don't have a car or drivers licenses and stuff like Uber can get expensive, so my transportation is limited to walking, buses, and subways (My dorm is right around the corner from Hollywood Boulevard). I don't really identify as Wiccan or Pagan, I just do white magic. I would start a coven myself but I don't have any friends or family who do white magic and even if I did all of them are back home in Connecticut or somewhere on the other side of the country (USA) and none of them know about this. So anyways back to the point of this, does anyone know of any white magic covens in Hollywood or that I can take a subway or bus to meet with? I don't want a permanent coven, I just want to observe and learn for now.

I would keep in mind that most of if not all of these covens are centered around Wicca or Paganism, though some covens or groups (like the open circle I sometimes attend here in Texas) are very open to friends of Wiccans/Pagans, people who are curious about it, or people who are just witches looking for similar company and knowledge because many of us are also witches and can relate.
Aside from finding one online I wouldn't know. Most covens aren't usually very public unless you know where to look for them. Word of mouth and the internet are where most people nowadays find groups.
You could find a more niche online coven centered toward your path than Spellcasters, as they're kind of full of everyone from different paths and they don't have a defined leadership. Granted thats fhe point of them I think.
Thank you, I tried using witchvox but the groups were either to far away or they would not except anyone under 21. As of today I am 19 years old so obviously, I still have a few more years left until I can join/attend any meetings for those covens.
I'm currently apart of Spell Casters, I just join a day or 2 ago. I'll probably go check and see if anyone else in the coven knows of any covens near me that I'm old enough to join/visit.
That's crazy when I was reading this. I am into white magic too and I am Christian and from Connecticut. I was looking for someone into something similar because it is very hard to find people who just practice white magic like me.
Another option would be to google up a local metaphysical store in your area. google maps is actually very handy. Just plug in your current address and hit the 'find nearby' button and experimentvwith some keywords. I suggest 'metaphysical', 'crystals' and 'magic books'.
When you spend some time hanging out in such places you'll have opportunities to get to know the shop owners, and also the people who come and go as they look at things for their own practices.
As it happens there is an open Pagan event in Hollywood tonight, starting at 8PM. While Wicca and Paganism might not be your cup of tea, such gathers are a great way to meet others in your area and network.
