Hello to all and thank you in advance for the replies. I've been a novice at magic usage with me starting out about 8 years ago. I've taken a long hiatus until last year. I've grown to receive "premonitions" of Chaos, and with that I've been adamantly learning how to manipulate energy. So now that that little introduction is out of the way here's why I'm asking this here and not just googling it. A few days ago I tried to mix my energy with someone whom I didn't know at the time had a very different kind of energy from me, causing me to become very energetically fatigued. Physically I was fine although spiritually I fully believe I almost killed myself. This has clearly shown me that I lack the capabilities I desire. I know through personal experience that my soul has a mass of unused energy. Although my body lacks the means to allow it to manifest. So my question is how do I train my body to be able to better process and hold my own energy, so that I can channel more of it at one time?
I would suggest finding a good instructor of Tai Chi, Qigong, Aikido or Reiki. Yoga is not bad if the instructor really understands it. Most instructors today do not, and just do the physical exercises and modern "meditations". Like anything else, the more you do it the more open you will become and the more energy you will be able to handle. And, like most things, practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. So, don't short change yourself by settling for Youtube. Working with energy is a hands-on thing and a live instructor will not only help you understand more but will also keep you from making dangerous mistakes.

Follow your intuition on this.
It sounds like the person you had this experience with has a deep rooted spiritual issue that you were able to tap into, and due to lack of shielding and preparation (which is entirely forgivable and I hope you don't beat yourself up for not doing those things) your own spiritual energy was consumed by this. But this is just my own guess.
It reminds me of when I perform a group ritual with other practitioners, and how we all feel drained after putting ourselves into our work to further our cause.
To be honest I don't know enough about you or the person involved to fully understand what happened or why it is affecting you in this way. Which is why I am telling you to follow your intuition. Meditate on this and consult yourself on what happened. Journal about it even. I think you are more capable than you'd like to believe (I mean, with our sense of self and our higher bodies we are capable of just about anything), and I am confident you will recover from this and learn from this little journey.
A good way to replenish and recover in the meantime is grounding. Feeling the earth beneath your feet, becoming part of the energetic ecosystem of the planet beneath and around you. I like to think of it as if I am growing roots from my feet that find aquafers and connect me to the other roots and life around me. Meditation is a good step of course, with a focus on visualizing yourself absorbing the energy in the environment around you. The universe is giving and abundant, all you have to do is learn how to take what you need.
I also do like the suggestions of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Reiki. Tai chi is a nice balance of physical movement understanding the transference of energy in all movement, same with Qi Gong (more focus on energy there though). Reiki is unique in that it is a focus and 'unlocked' channeling of universal source energy through the crown chakra and down the chakra system of your own body and finally out through your hands - which is another basis of energy manipulation and having it performed on yourself can be very very energizing. All of them are worth a shot to help you recenter and revitalize
Follow your intuition, and take care of yourself. You may feel fine physically but it's only a matter of time before the spiritual drain could affect your physical well being.

Oh, I forgot to add. With practice and experience we become better at our craft. Life is about constant lessons and struggle, and the only way through them is through them. Continue to work on it and in time you will no longer have an issue like this
Thanks to you both for the faadback. I'll be taking what both of you have said to heart, I have been doing grounding for the past few days but I'm still not quite back to normal. Hollabaluru how you described what I did actually hit the nail on the head of what I was trying to do, and what I didn't do too heheh. From here I'll be looking into Qi Gong and Reiki as I have previously worked with Tai chi. Also as MagicShawn put it, "Perfect practice makes perfect" I think it's time I find some more formal training
