I am curious. Has anyone had a dream with a black/bronze one eyed creature/man? Or had a dream where theyre told of their past life?In my dream he (the creature)flew down from the sky and told meI first appeared inEgypt in the 900and that I was taken and never seen again. He said he was connected to me like my twin, higher me, something like that. The day I had this dream I had twin flame centered dreams. Before this dream I talked on the phone to my twin flame and he said he loved me and is ready for me too. But has anyone had a past life dream?
I don't dream about the past. Usually it's the future. Other times it's a random dream. Instead, intend to feel things. Example: I'll be writing when somethings hints I should use ____ word that I don't know the meaning of. The meaning is always the word I need for the text. Something also tells me stuff I never knew happened. I don't think I'm capable of receiving past life dreams. I might just feel really really attached to a culture/ time period.
Sapphire, it is possible that what you saw in the dream is your 'higher self,' as it self-identifies. What exactly that is, depends a lot on your own personal beliefs.
In some traditions, it is described as an aspect of yourself -- a part of your mind, so to speak. It is framed as your "true will" in many of these cases, holding only your best interests in mind. In some similar traditions, the higher self is also called one's Holy Guardian Angel. The goal of some teachings is to come into 'conversation' with the Higher Self -- that is, to be able to readily access one's true will, rather than hoping for random insights and occasional appearances in dreams.
Some people believe the Higher Self is the true spirit -- the immortal part of your being which persists despite the degradation of body and the passage of time. Many of these people also believe in reincarnation.
Exactly what you believe depends on you, as there is no way to prove or disprove the existence of the Higher Self or to determine what it truly is, outside of one's own Unverifiable Personal Gnosis (a very important concept, in my opinion).
I find it very interesting that the creature in your dream specified Egypt in the year 900 (presumably AD?). It could be worth your while researching exactly what was going on there at that point in history. There were a lot of transitions going on at that time. Egypt was divided into upper and lower kingdoms, and 900AD is a time late in the Tulinid period of Egypt. The next period is considered to have begun in 914AD. The tumultuous nature of these transitions might also explain why you may have been "taken."
