Once again this site seems to be full of teenagers thinking summoning demons is a good and wise choice. can one of you say why? Did you see something on tv and think "Wow cool". or did you get mad at your parents want to punish them? Or another friend or loved one.
What you do has consequences. Some you could not even imagine. I have meet several people throughout the years who spent a lot of time going after what you know seek. And I found nothing but broken and shattered minds left in the wake of their pursuit for control over demons.
Also you have to keep in mind they are millions of years older than you. They know all the tricks you do not. Your what 14,15 16 maybe? You read a book or two, you think you know it all. So go ahead little ones you will find out soon it was a very bad choice.
I can somewhat agree on this. I went through a little phase were I thought summoning one of these ancient beings was awesome. Thankfully, I never went through with this and just remained in my little bubble of studying and solitude.
As a demon worker my self I'd like to address certain points you're trying to make..
As you've stated multiple times you give out the idea that you are against working with demons or those type of entities, which is fine. Everyone has their own opinion and view of things. However you can not say that working with demons is something that will immediately harm someone or that summoning one will do that, more often than not it's not the case. Bad things happen because people are not prepared and they do not do research prior to actually taking action.
Working with demons is not something that will harm you immediately or if you summon one things will not start to fly around and break. Demons are just like any other entity, except their energy frequency is lower. When studying with entities you study them, you get to know what they're all about, hear stories, experiences, etc. Demons are the same. Except that they're looked at with such negative view because of Christianity's influence - particularly the bible - on them.
With that said, I do believe that the path of demonolatry is not for everyone. It's not something that you should do because you think it's all fun and games, most times it is not. It is a path of the Self in most cases, a path where a lot of effort and work is placed on. Prior study should be done before working with any type of entity, not just demons.
However I heavily disagree on how this was stated, Hemlock. Bad things only happen when people are not prepared or are not informed, it isn't necessarily just the entity itself. Remember that not all dark is evil and not all light is good.
There are varying beliefs and opinions when it comes to working with demons as well as similar entities though I feel we can all agree on one thing which is that sadly many do not necessarily get into the subject matter because of a true passion for it. What I mean is there are plenty who seemingly jump into it without doing much research and without truly studying it likely due to the influence of modern media. The concept of conversing with otherworldly entities, especially demons, has existed for a long time though some of the more modern imaginings, such as crossroad deals depicted in the program Supernatural, likely have spurned many impressionable people into trying to contact such entities with the hope of getting some seemingly impossible desire of theirs made a reality. The danger is limited. though I wouldnt say negated 100%, if one goes into things with their eyes open and having truly studied the subject matter thoroughly. As stated above those who are truly in potential danger are those who lack preparation and well to be frank common sense. Anything can be dangerous given the right circumstances and how the situation is handled.
I have to say I disagree with everyone here. Working with any spiritual entity can be dangerous if one is not prepared, angels can be just as nasty as demons. They are all spirits, I don't buy into the 'lower/higher frequency' stuff, they are both spirits, they just have different reputations amongst pracitioners and sometimes belong to different systems.
As for saying nothing bad will immediately happen, I can testify that isn't always the case. I have personally seen one case go wrong, and I know another person who was more than burned by the experience. It of course depends on whether you summon them according to the tradition they were in. For example, doing a goetic working without the circle and triangle is ludicrous. You wouldn't allow a stranger into your home, you'd keep them at the door first- you should keep your distance from spirits you do not know and always be within control of your own environment. Some people don't have the capacity for this, but the spirits can come when called- they don't know how to handle them, and the spirit can be annoyed with the waste of time. Not to mention, some spirits are just plain chaotic.
It has nothing to do with the bible or christianity, a lot of these demons in grimoireswere discovered through christian magic, anyone who starts spouting that nonsense that demons are gods and goddesses demonised by Christianity doesn't know what they are talking about. The grimoiric spirits should be approached through the grimoire tradition, they answer to those rules, and are a part of that system. Saying that a goetic spirit is inherently nice or just the same as an angel is like saying a rat is at the same place in the food chain as a cat- it is not.
People can and will do what they want, but magick is not something to be played with and evocation is not something one should be experimenting with if you are just starting out. I have always said if you have to ask questions on how to evoke something, you are not ready to do it.
This being said, you will always make mistakes in magick, things will get messy. Situations will get out of control, that's okay when it's just you or you and sprits you trust, but when you have another entity there, you should know what you are doing and how to deal with the unexpected.
All of this said also, some people will get along with demons better than they will with angels, it doesn't mean one should trust either one any more than the other! You may not like Sally who lives in Birmingham, she's an evil demon to you. To me she is the life of the party and someone I adore, to me she is an angel. She is a person to both of us, but the label differs. It is the same with spiritual beings- but again, it had nothing to do with Christianity when it came to grimoirespirits and demons, it was from the experience of the practitioner.
As for the worship of demons, I don't understand that one- working with them is one thing, deifying them is another. Saying that I don't believe in worshipping Gods either, so perhaps I am being short-sighted and old-fashioned.
