Due to my health issues and some personal issues I've been facing I was in contact with my old mentor this weekend and was reminded in a very stern manner that due to affiliations and vows made a long time ago I am not free to join another coven. In spite of years that have passed and this coven being on the internet it seems that the promises made so long ago by the girl must be upheld by the woman she became. I'm sorry to both you here and to them. It was not an intentional breach of a promise, it was a simple misunderstanding and lack of thought. I thank you all for making me feel welcome and a part of things. If there is one message I can leave you all with it is to be open and honest with each other, even on the small things. If you cant be true with each other within the family then you will never withstand what comes from the outside. Together you are strong...remember that
"ain't nobody messin with you but you
your friends are getting most concerned -
loose with the truth
maybe it's your fire
but baby...don't get burned
When the smoke has cleared, she said,
that's what she said to me:
You're gonna want a bed to lay your head
and a little sympathy
There are things you can replace
and others you cannot
The time has come to weigh those things
this space is getting hot -
you know this space is getting hot"
As many of you already know Linda and I come as a pair. Though I was only a child when she made her affiliations and vows, it seems the fates were already laying the path for me to reach her door. Due to the time needed and the work involved, only one apprentice may be taken by each. One of my vows has always been to watch and learn so where Linda goes I follow. I also can not stay do to other vows I have made. So farewell to all and remeber that being true to yourself and others makes the path you walk have less things to trip you up.

Our loss to see you both go.
However you needn't become inactive in the forems, that in itself isn't breaking your vows.
At least I would hope it isn't.
May we have not heard the last of you two.
