High Priestess +2 of Cups

Hello. I did a tarot reading and asked the cards about the role someone I hold dear is playing in a current situation of mine (we're separated right now, and I would love to be back with him). I ended up drawing the High Priestess and the 2 of Cups to represent the actions he has/is taking. I have interpreted them to mean that his actions are very subtle or even secret (High Priestess), but are loving nonetheless (2 of Cups). I also concluded that he does not mean to do me any harm.

Do any of you get anything else out of the cards I pulled?

I suppose your reading is dependent on if the cards are upright or not.

If they are upright, the high priestess is likely advising you to use your intuition regarding his feelings since it is a card of divine femininity and the subconscious mind. The two of cups is a card that represents actions taken regarding unified love, partnership and mutual attraction so you are probably correct in your statement.
