Hi, I'm new here

Hi everyone, I am brand new here and am looking for some guidance, do's and do-nots, and some friends with a more open mind.
A little back ground: I am a dark soul that is desperately grasping for the white. I practice meditation every day, and am finding a new awakening in my appreciation of nature, concern for the planet and defenseless animals that are at our mercy, and general anxiety about the state of our world. I am trying to make amends for the wrong that I have done (nothing very bad, but I have spread a lot of negativity through selfish actions), and am wanting to take this to the next level.
