Child Protection Spell

Does anyone know a spell to protect your child a spell that will work when your child is a thousand miles away from you?

While I don't know any specific spells for this purpose, I would imagine that simulacra magic would work well here. That would involve keying an object such as a poppet to the child and casting a protection spell upon it. A photo would also be an appropriate object.

I agree with Draq. Poppet magic using the Law of Sympathy where like attracts like can certainly be used and is an easy way to do it. You could make a regular practice of this. Every night before you go to bed, hold the poppet in your hands and visualize your daughter. Then gather energy and form it into a shield around your poppet/daughter.

Also, there are certain stones and crystals with protection energies that can be worn as a piece of jewelry. Black Tourmaline is especially good for this. A small crystal on a fine chain that she can wear all the time could be charged with protection energy when gifted to her. And you could recharge this at a distance by clearly visualizing the crystal and pushing energy to it. Likewise a bracelet could be used.

Likewise the rune, Algiz, is considered a rune of protection. You can find pendants with this rune on them that can be worn as jewelry. Or you could create your own protection symbols by creating Bind Runes. I did this when my husband was in Iraq. In his case I took a disc of wood and burned the bind rune into it with a woodburning tool. Remember that, in magical workings, distance is a barrier only in your mind. If you visualize your daughter and your intent for her clearly in your mind, then your working will behave as though she is right beside you.
