I assume they are the ashes of a loved one? You could place them on an altar and dedicate the space to your loved one, and use the ashes as a means to connect with and work with their spirit, as a guide, if you were comfortable with that.

If you have no desire to do ancestral work, you could just dedicate a space of honor to them to keep them in your memory and honor them and their passing.

You could also, if they wished to have the ashes distributed somewhere, do it as part of a remembrance ritual for them. You can say words of kindness or affection for the loved one(s) you've lost.Afterwards, take time to reflect on your loved one(s) that have crossed over. Know that they are always with you. Take some time to meditate and focus on the happy times you've had with them.

I need suggestions also. Not a good person at all. Like rape and something to horrible to even say or write down. (it's sick) he wasn't a good person when living. But not that many people come into contact with such a gift. remains from an evil person. he had no purpose in life, but in his ashes. could help me in a hex? everything has a use. I said toilet or dog poop. thank you.

Human remains are a touchy subject. There are a lot of regulations in most countries that restrict what can be done with them not to mention laws of possession. Be strongly aware of that.

Ashes of a person that are kept close to family are a source of reverence for the kindred when they are available for family members to set out on important religious days. Once the ashes are committed to the earth or water, that area is the sole connection. One would need to travel to be in contact with the burial site. In mobile family units, it's not unusual for the remains to be divided amongst the family.

The remains of a non family unit person, especially one of dubious circumstance, should be placed in a location that causes the least issues for all parties involved according to legal standards. Osama Bin Laden's remains were buried at sea in a non publicly disclosed location to prevent visitation and martyrdom issues. Right or wrong, it was decided to give his remains a civil burial in such a way that the actual remains would not be in an area where they were accessible.

I cannot comment on the usage of human remains for magickal purposes. It's not part of my path other than sitting out for a night on an ancestral worship holiday. In my practice, mound sitting is the extent of things.
