I'd this please

Hi I'm new here but not new to the craft. I just saw this in a second hand stor among a waterfall if othe necklaces. I was drawn to it it chose me to take it home. So anybody recognize it? Looks a variation or an incomplete compass. I think it is carved on ivory.
