There are indeed many powerful ideas within the eastern philosophies. One's that many western ideals completely forget about. In the west, it is about the have and the have-not. In the east it is much more about the 'be'.

'The power of now' by Echart Tolle is a book that informs itself very strongly from these ideals. I found it to be an interesting (if slightly dry) read. Definitely worth getting your hands on it if you find a copy.

I believe most who want to practice the occult arts, forget that great knowledge exists in other forms as well.

Our inner power is real.

And I believe the practitioners of any art should always be willing to look at other arts for knowledge.

A Witch is drawing upon her "CHI",

She probably doesn't call it the same thing as myself and others.

Yet it is the same power.
