I believe in Loki and have worked with him though I am closer to his children.

*Sigh*

Loki is not a demon or even that dark. This misconception comes from modern circles.

He is a bringer of change and chaos but through his antics, things tend to work out.

In the story where he cuts Sif's hair, he technically also aquirres gifts for the other Gods which make them more powerful.

Even his killing of Baldur brings about Ragnarok later on which is necessary for the next cycle to begin.

In many ways his anger towards the Gods is justified and in many ways he views things as just a joke.

He is also a fire giant (Jotunn).

From my experience he has a lot of wisdom in his madness and can be pretty serious and mature.
