Cut a heart out of the paper, then write the name of the person you want to have ask you out. Place herbs in the paper that represent love. Seal it.

sounds incomplete. regarding ''it won't force them'' the majority of love spells [or any spell cast to influence another] won't force them into submission, they will be more susceptible to the idea if they already think of you in a positive way. this will make your energy vibrate similar to each other and draw you together. once you've achieved the spell [they ask you out] the energy will wear off, so if you don't put in the effort to build the relationship, it will end.
