"(a water deity/ your preferred deity/ mermaids), please, I beg of thee, make me a mermaid.I want  to have a (COLOR TAIL YOU WANT) and a power which is to(POWER YOU WANT THAT IS WATER RELATED) so mote this be."

sorry, I dont become a mermaid, but the background picture is so attractive.

Belief doesn't override reality. That'd be like telling someone that if they simply believe they can fly they can safely jump out of a window. No amount of belief will enable someone to physically turn into a mermaid. However you can look into mental/astral shifting. That's the next best thing.
