Take a small amount of the lotion in your hands. Rub it on the affected areas. It helps cool the heat of the burn, it is smooth, and it won't peel! Reapply as much as you need to.

If you are a female with a burn across the shoulders, I would op for some strapless bras as the straps place pressure on the burn and make it hurt more.

Oils and butters, like cocoa butter, retain heat and are worse for burns. Look for lotions with aloe vera gel, chamomile, mint, lavender, or other healing herbs. Enchant them with healing energy and use on burns as needed.
