First of all it's a binding spell which means use it with caution and only do it if you truly love someone because love spells are basically caging somebody's heart.

Casting Instructions for 'Love Braid Binding'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • Three 15 inches ribbon of color related to love like red, pink, white.
  • Vanilla Pod or Cinnamon Stick

Braid the ribbons together saying your beloved's and your name asking the Goddess of Love, Venus or Isis to strengthen the bond of love between you and your lover. Place the ribbon close to your heart and imagine you both in a happy relationship and madly in love with each other. Tie the cinnamon stick or vanilla pod with the ribbons and keep it somewhere safe. He/she will soon confess their love for you.

Though I doubt it is as potent as the author states (caging a heart, and all that), I would think this is a simple working spell. Though it assumes the person performing the working already has experience as it mentions petitioning gods for help, without going into detail as to how.

I would recommend some side-research first on how to connect with and appeal to the god/deity you decide to call on in a spell like this, before performing the working. It would help add more weight to your efforts. Also, as a slight change, I would use one red/pink/lavender ribbon for love and relationships, one ribbon of a colour that you feel represents yourself (like your favorite colour/the colour you wear most often .. other than black or white) and make the third ribbon the favorite/most worn colour of your 'target'.

Write the other person's name onto 'your' ribbon, and your name on 'their' ribbon to further represent a combining/mingling/connecting of your paths and energies in addition to the act of weaving yourselves together with 'love' (the third ribbon). Then wrap the woven ribbon around the middle of the cinnamon stick three times (once for mind, once for body, once for soul) and tie it off in a single knot and bow.
