how do you know anything is possible with magic if you have the paitcents and control

I assume you missed some punctuation between ''know'' and ''anything'' because this sounds like one long thought. GreatWizard, sub par grammar. Magic is limited on the physical plane by nature. It is part of nature, it is ruled by nature, it is limited by nature. I have plenty of patience, control, and knowledge to inform you regardless of how often you try, how long you wait, or how badly you want it, you cannot become a mermaid. The concept contradicts nature, going against natural law, and therefore cannot physically happen.
