Bones of Anger... Hex
Casting Instructions for 'Bones of Anger... Hex'
- Gather bones of chickens and dry them in the sun for a few days. Then when you are ready to do this hex make sure you are worked up into a frenzy of anger and hatred. This will add to the potency of your hex! Be thinking of all this while doing this hex and when it says 'With these bones I now do crush'' take a hammer or use your feet to stomp and crush these bones as if they were your enemy before you! When you are done sweep them up and place them in a bag. You will then want to sprinkle the dust and remains of the bones on your enemies property around his house.
- If you have a bell ring it 3 times and say...

hear me now... "Bones of anger, bones to dust
full of fury, revenge is just
I scatter these bones, these bones of rage

I bind him, crush him, bring him down
With these bones I now do crush
Make thine enemy turn to dust
torment, fire, out of control
With this hex I curse your soul"

But call on a more appropriate/legitimate entity of revenge or justice. Or leave out the specific calling of a being and simply directing your own ire directly into the process.
Once done smashing, sweep everything (salt, bones, and picture) into a paper bag, Perhaps spit into it with your hatred for a final bit of disrespect, then throw it into the garbage and take it out of the house.
The books are pretty good, especially as they were ground-breaking for their time in terms of style. If you like studying the history of storytelling, particularly when it comes to horror tropes, it is worth getting a hold of Lovecraft's collected works. Or, for a summary, look up Overly Sarcastic on YouTube. They cover the essentials really well.
But, in the end, Cthulhu is a work of fiction invented as a representation of the horror of the unknown. Cthulhu is not a 'living' deity or active entity. At best, it is an archetype of the power of horror and the unknown.
I would recommend choosing a different being to call on in this chant/process. Call on a more appropriate being, and I feel that this working could carry a measure of potency.
