Okay take the apple and peel its skin into a rind. Now you can go ahead and eat the apple if you want. You just need the rind now. Fill your bucket or sink full of water and drop the rind in. Now watch the rind as it spells a letter. That's the name of your true love.

This is an old game people use to do in the fall while peeling apples. There's another version where you throw it over your left shoulder. There is also bobbing for apples. It was said those who caught an apple would meet their new love by next Samhain.

This is an old form of divination. It has never worked for me, nor for anyone I know, but it is simplistic so try it for yourself.
