This must be done when the snow is falling.

When the snow falls take the red velvet out and hold it under the snow fall and say;
 

 

 "Star crystal silver stone,
I warm thee now to blood and rain,
nor shall thou turn to ice again."
 

 

 Return to your house and breath on the flakes untill they have all melted, then pin it with the gold pin. keep it with you every day untill its purpose has been served.
