Relax into a meditative state, and focus on the pure emotion of love. As the feeling gets stronger, focus the energy into your palms. I have found that, after the meditation, you can actually withdraw the energy into you so the spell is not mis-cast. Once you're in the presence of the one you desire, focus the energy back into your palms as you touch them.
