What a nice spell well done

Indeed. Short and sweet, but a useful tool for mindful focus towards a specific goal. Something valuable for stuff like energy-working. I would suggest imagining the pain of the injury as if it was a distressed red glow or field of energy. Perhaps like a mist even. And as you gently move your hands over the area, imagine one hand (usually the 'off' or non-dominant hand) soaking up that energy like a sponge while your other hand lets out a mist/energy of warmth and healing, perhaps of a green or purple color if you are partial to the idea. (Both colors invoke ideas of calm and healing)

And if you do, it is good to 'ground' the soaked up pain when you are done. Touch your hand to the ground, and mentally let go of the pain. Let it fall away. Or, give your hand a sharp shake towards the ground, envisioning yourself casting off the energy as if you were shaking water drops from your fingers.
